She was born in August 4th 1982 at Istanbul. She started her music life taking piano lessons at a very young age. She also studied guitar in Pera Guzel Sanatlar private course and for two seasons she took flamenco guitar lessons from Ilgaz Benekay. In 1997 while she studied at Pera Guzel Sanatlar High School, she also took private violin lessons from Cihat Aşkım. She graduated in 2001. During her education she has taken active roles as a violinist or as a singer at school performances. Also she has appeared in shows at Atatürk Culture ulture Center and Cemal Raşit Rey Concert Hall, Samsun Gazi Concert Hall and Tahtakuşlar Ethnography Museum together with Ilgaz Benekay Flamenco Group. In Denmark Sandenburg Rotary Club, she has made a special show where she performed folkloric tunes with classical singing techniques. She continued her education being accepted to Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatoire where she studied on violin anf singing. She studied on singing with Erol Uras, repertoire with Alaadin Yavaşça, musicals with Faris Akarsu. At the shows arranged by Etnik 34, she has sung flamenco in the presence of the dancer Marco de Ana.
